Explorers also receive hands on training from Police Officers and have the opportunity to go on field trips to such places as the Clermont County Jail and the Clermont County Communications Center.

In April of each year Police Explorers throughout the Tri-State region meet on Way Cross Road in Forest Park for their annual Police Explorer Competition. At the competition a panel judges the Explorers' knowledge and performance abilities in such events as: crash investigation, crime scene investigation, hostage negotiation, domestic violence, etc.  The winners of these events receive a trophy for the event in which they finished in the top three.  There are normally over twenty explorer posts that compete in this event.

If you are between the ages of 14-21 and have a desire to learn about law enforcement, give us a call! Contact Captain Cliff Rowland at 513-248-3721 to find out how you can join! Or CLICK HERE to complete the application online.
