SUMMER KIDS TENNIS
Community Park Session 1: June 24 - 27; 5-6:00 pm, Ages 7-9; 6-7:00 pm, Ages 9+ Miami Riverview Park Session 1: June 24 - 27; 9-10:00 am, Ages 7-9; 10-11:00 am, Ages 8-11; 11-noon (FULL), Ages 8-14 ** Intermediate play is designed for strategy, not stroke instruction. Must be able to keep score, learn doubles strategy, tiebreakers and be able to play several sets. FISHING CAMP July 29 - August 2 The fish are biting, but have you ever discovered the joy of dropping a line into the water for the big catch! Now's your chance. In addition to daily fishing, participants will learn about fish ecology, tying knots and casting, respect for one's self and others, aquatic habitats and more. Campers will learn how to bait a hook & safely remove the fish from the hook. Bring your own equipment. Bait is provided. We will practice catch and release. ALL ABOUT SPORTSJuly 15 - 19 Campers will participate in a variety of sports including basketball, baseball, soccer, and volleyball. There is an emphasis on teamwork and cooperation. There will be team building activities leading up to participating in the sport of the day. Friday will be Olympic Day. Bring lunch & water every day. SAND VOLLEYBALL CAMPJuly 22 - 26 Kids just want to have fun and sand volleyball is a great way to do that. Volleyball is a great lifetime, family fun sport. If you are a beginner, this is not a problem because basic skills, procedures, scoring, rotation and serving will be reinforced. Please wear athletic shoes and bring plenty of drinking water. ULTIMATE SPORTS CAMP!July 22 - 26 Come be a part of the Ultimate Sports Camp! You will learn how to play the ultimate sports of Football and Frisbee and get a crash course in Frisbee Golf at Community Park. TINY-HAWK (SOCCER & BASKETBALL)July 1,2,3,5 (4 days) Tiny-Hawk Multi-Sport camp helps 3 to 5 year olds fine-tune their motor skills in soccer and basketball. No pressure, just lots of fun while these tiny athletes learn the basics through unique Skyhawks games. Our Tiny-Hawk coaching staff is trained to meet the special needs of young children. Our staff is committed to creating a positive introduction to sports. Children must be potty-trained to attend. Pull-ups are not allowed. MINI-HAWK MULTI-SPORTJuly 1,2,3,5 (4 days) S.N.A.G. GOLFAugust 12 - 16 Skyhawks will be using the SNAG Coaching System, a new system for training beginning golfers using the most fun golf equipment around. Skyhawks will provide launchers and rollers designed with larger heads and greater hitting surfaces that make it easier to hit the ball while learning proper swing techniques. Emphasis is on fun, participation and safety. This is a very fundamental golf camp. BEGINNING GOLFAugust 12 - 16 Skyhawks Sports Golf focuses on building the confidence of young athletes through training in proper technique and foundational skills. Golf is a challenging and lifelong sport, so young athletes need proper focus on the essentials of a good swing, putting, and body positioning. To assist in this training, Skyhawks Sports has adopted the SNAG (Starting New At Golf) technology to its curriculum. SNAG utilizes a set of equipment designed for beginning golfers. As a safety precaution, Skyhawks Sports will be utilizing golf helmets for protection. Please do not bring your own clubs. RECREATIONAugust 5 - 9 Skyhawks Recreation is meant for the athlete who wants to do a little bit of everything! These programs are designed for participants who want to have fun playing games in various sports such as Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football and Softball. |
