Eric and his wife
Mary have been Miami Township residents
since 1972. Eric and Mary have one
grown daughter,
Jennifer, and one granddaughter Malia, who
also reside in Miami Township. Eric
has been the Township
Clerk since 1992.
Eric holds a BS/BA
degree in Accounting and a MBA in Business
Administration. Both degrees
were earned from Xavier
University.
Eric has been
working in the financial field for 35
years, beginning his career as an
accounting clerk
at Baldwin Piano &
Organ Company. He currently holds the
position of Chief Financial Officer
for
Force Control
Industries, a manufacturing concern in the
Fairfield area.
Eric believes small,
local government is the most cost
effective and efficient form of
government
existing today.
Townships are not allowed to impose
earnings taxes on residents and,
therefore,
must depend on property
taxes and bond levies for the majority of
their revenue. Citizens make the
choices on the services
they want by voting, which gets us back to
a "grassroots" form of
government.
