Dry Run Road will be closed beginning Monday, September 22, 2008, for phase 1 of the OPWC Bank Stabilization and Road Relocation Project. The road will be closed between US 50 and south of Laurelwood Drive. After the completion of phase 1, the road will be closed just north of Galley Hill Road (an approximate 200' length) for phase 2 of the project. Local traffic will be maintained up to either side of the construction sites. All through traffic will be blocked during this closure and will not reopen until the entire project is complete. Weather permitting, we estimate the duration of the project to be 2 - 3 weeks per phase, with a projected end-date of November 28, 2008. During the road closure, the Miami Township Service Department will also address ditching issues in preparation of the 1.76 miles of road that will be repaved this year.
